Listings with photos typically generate more interest. Until photos are received from the client, some type of image is assigned to each listing. It may or may not be of a similiar item, depending on availability.
Clients may use the self addressed stamped envelope in which to return photos to us. They will be uploaded to your listing as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours of receiving them. We do not return photos, and once received they become part of American-ag & Heavy Equipment's Stock Photo Library.
Accuracy of Listings & Website
American-ag & Heavy Equipment takes great care to ensure that listings are entered accurately. Please check your listing after you are notified and let us know of any changes or corrections that may be needed. We will make them as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
We are not liable for any errors or situations arising due to errors on listings or our website. However, we strive to maintain the integrity of our site, and we ask that if an error is found, you contact us immediately so that we can correct it.
Actions of 3rd Parties
American-ag & heavy Equipment is not responsible for the actions, policies, statements, promises, guarantees, or situations that may arise because of such actions made by any 3rd parties. These include companies, clients, and all others.
Our job is to market your equipment to as large of an audience as possible. We are not involved in the actual transaction process, and we are not liable for the actions or results that may arise in the course of a any transaction. Please take any necessary precautions to ensure a smooth and safe sale, and visit our protect yourself page for more information.
Verification of Orders
Authorization of all orders placed via the telephone are recorded for accuracy and verification purposes, and customers placing orders are informed of this prior to accepting any order.
Refund Policy & Cancellations
American-ag & Heavy Equipment begins investing time and money on each listing the moment we accept it. Therefore, there are no cancellations or refunds once a listing is live.
We notify you, both by e-mail and regular mail (regular mail only if you don't have or haven't provided us with an e-mail address) when your listing is live - often within hours. We strive for accuracy, but occasionally, we do make errors, too. Please check your listing as quickly as possible and let us know of any errors or changes you would like to make and we will make any necessary corrections.
If you have to discontinue marketing your item for any reason, just let us know. We can put a hold on it, and re-start it at any point you desire.
If you sell your item in a week or two - that's great news! Unfortunately, we have no way to verify how, when, or if the equipment actually sold. This is not an acceptable reason to request a refund, and we cannot honor these requests.
Returned Check, Chargeback, and Delinquent Account Policy
It is the intent of American-ag & Heavy Equipment to treat chargebacks and returned checks as delinquent accounts, and to pursue payment of any delinquent debt by any means available to us. This may include the use of a 3rd party collection agency for not only the original amount due but for any additional fees incurred. All services will be suspended until an account is brought current.
This is a preventive measure only, and one we prefer not to have to use. We haven't had but a couple. In regards to chargebacks, we consider their virtual non-existence as a testament to the level of service we provide. In fact, we are extremely proud of that statistic. However, each has been frustrating, time consuming, and we've yet to see one that has had a valid complaint. This is a problem that has gotten out of hand, affecting all industries, and we feel that it is not only the right of any honest merchant, but their duty to take a strong and firm stand as it seems to be the only way to put a stop to it. It is our desire that this is a policy we never have to enforce, but if it is needed, we prefer to let collection experts do what they do best so we can spend our time doing what we do best - marketing your equipment!
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the first year and continue to renew on a bi-monthly basis unless you contact us to cancel.
